I’m not so keen on celebrating my birthday. For whatever reason, some of my closest friends don’t even know when that happens. But I genuinely love to celebrate our wedding anniversary with you every year. Here’s why…
Nine years ago, we stood in our Adirondack best and eloped in the woods. Back then, truly nothing about our life was oriented around a farm. We were living in the city and didn’t have land, a name, or even a single customer at the time!
And yet (and this is 100% true!!), when we read our vows out loud for the very first time, we both unknowingly included a few words about a future farm that we hoped would someday come into existence.
Fast forward just a few years, and it’s just absolutely crazy that Stonecrop Farm now exists as the top-rated livestock farm in the region! And that we’re now nourishing hundreds of families every year with our organic and pasture-raised meats.
All of this is thanks to YOU – for leaning in, engaging with the farm, and trusting us to grow your food. Happy 9-Year Anniversary!
