Farming can be taxing on our bodies and our minds. But no one can say that there aren’t incredible benefits to this work. One of them, which I’d argue might be the greatest of all, is the peace of mind that comes from knowing that whatever happens in the world, we always have good food.

In the face of food shortages and supply chain issues we’ve all experienced over the past few years, we’ve always had incredibly high-quality god food to feed ourselves and share with you.

That’s a true privilege and one that we’ve been thinking a lot about again this year as we prepare for Thanksgiving. With all this in mind, we’d like to invite you to join us in doing something special!

There’s an organization called Agape Haven of Abundance that feeds children and adults who are hungry in Rochester. We’ve supported them before and can attest to their excellent work!

And right now, they need non-perishable food items for the holidays – things like canned fruit, marinara sauce, canned fruits/veggies, soups, cereals, canned tuna, or dry pasta.

Please bring your non-perishables to the Farm Store this Sunday (we’ve extended hours from 9am-2pm this weekend for Thanksgiving Holiday Pickup!).

Let’s work together to fill some pantries and pass on that peace of mind we’ve come to appreciate even more deeply these past few years.

Your Farmers,
Jenney & Greg

PS – We’ll be closing the online store at 10pm on Saturday evening this week so we have time to prepare your orders for pickup at the Farm Store. Click HERE to add any items for pickup this Sunday.
