Way back when, we made a deal with the powers that be.

If the stars aligned and we were able to keep on growing amazing food for our community, we wouldn’t keep this place for ourselves. We’d share every last bit of it with YOU.

This is why we make the time to share stories with you each week. And it’s also why, from our first year onwards, we’ve always made a point to host farm tours.

We started these tours all the way back in 2015 with our note cards in hand. We learned how to loosen up and lean in to the topics that our guests are most excited about.

And over the years, we’ve now strolled the loop around the farm with hundreds and hundreds of guests and shared more magical moments together than I could ever begin to count!

Most hilarious, in terms of farm tour memories, was the time when despite our careful planning, two of our most enormous pigs started breeding right as we arrived at their paddock.

“Stunned” would be the word I would use to describe our guests’ faces in that moment…

There was also the time when one of the pigs managed to unearth a golf ball in the pasture and seemed to be attempting to swallow it whole.

Like a bat out of hell, I hopped the fence and sprinted over to the pig. And as if on cue, he actually dropped the ball for me – for the record, this is the one and only time I’ve ever seen a pig perform a trick like this!

Without fail, the tours are always a hoot. Not just because we get to introduce you to the animals. But because we get to help you connect more deeply with your food and understand the real journey it takes from our pasture to your plate.

We hope you’ll join us for a tour this summer. We promise it won’t disappoint and the first one’s coming up next weekend!

Your Farmers,
Jenney & Greg
