There’s a bumper sticker that says “No Farms. No Food” on the old rickety farm truck.
Greg found it at a farming conference a few years ago, and I remember feeling so encouraged when I first saw it.
Maybe with a few more of those, no one will notice the tailgate held together with a ratchet strap or the pockets of rust getting deeper by the day.
All these years later, though, I look at the farm truck, and the defects don’t even cross my mind.
Instead, I catch a glimpse of that sticker, and it makes me catch my breath – No Farms. No Food.
It’s a strikingly simple sentiment. A threat, really. One that I know, as well as you, is 100% true.
Without our farms and our farmers, we’d all suffer. But fortunately, a different reality is transpiring right here in Rochester.
It’s where a small farm like ours, of just 56 acres, can thrive. And where the organic and pasture-raised foods we grow are coveted.
It’s all happening here because of amazing humans like YOU.
And as we head into the holiday weekend, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to acknowledge you for this.
We promise to keep doing what we do best – growing the most nourishing food on the planet, connecting and sharing with you each week. It’s what this farm is all about, now and forever.
And we thank you, from the very bottom of our hearts, for choosing to support our small farm.
It means the world to us and everyone who comes after us.
Your Farmers,
Jenney & Greg
