When it rains, it really can pour sometimes.

Because while I’ve been laid up from this last hip surgery, Greg’s also had to contend with another one of his back strains this week.

As you know, we’re both outdoor and work-loving people. And seeing us both be down for the count at the same exact time, has presented us with some interesting opportunities.

One such opportunity has been having more time together to reflect. And one revelation that’s come to us this week is that it might be time for us to think more seriously about hiring an on-farm employee.

After all, if both of us were to be seriously injured – which is luckily NOT the case this time – the farm would come to screeching halt.

And if we don’t want to put YOU (the very fine people that depend on us for their groceries each week) or the animals (that also depend on us for their nourishment each day) in this situation, we probably need think about inviting someone else to join our team.

The other opportunity that’s come to us in this unexpectedly collaborative healing period, is more time to create. And by create, I mean direct our energy into something more innovative here (online) with you, instead of outside with our animals.

I can’t share too many of the details on this just yet. But there’s something special coming your way tomorrow morning and it was hand-made by us, just for you! Be sure to check your email tomorrow morning at 8am to check it out.

Your Farmers,
Jenney & Greg

PS – We still have a little bit of inventory available for pre-order this week (but not much!). Please place your orders HERE and bear with us as another round of fresh pork will be coming in next week!
