We’ve spent some time this week thinking about how we’ll adapt and adjust during this next phase of COVID-19. We aren’t stressing about it. But, we do think about it. And we do talk about it.

Not because we’re trying to torture ourselves or each other. But because we’re two people who tend to be cautious with the things we love. And knowing how much we love this farm and adore you, we’re eager to stay ahead of things.

Despite the prep work, the COVID news this week and the conversations about a “second wave” is still making my head spin. When I look forward though, there’s something pretty wonderful that stands out.

Every week since COVID hit us 4 months ago, we’ve found a way to move forward and share the food we grow. It hasn’t been easy. We’ve had to make some tough choices along the way. But we did it. And you know what? You did, too!

You were adjusting to HUGE changes with work, school, family, childcare and the like. But, you learned out how to place those pre-orders! And you figured out how to find our little Farm Store here in Henrietta – sometimes in the snow, sleet, and rain – to feed your families good food.

We’ve already done the heavy lifting. The plans in place now feel solid and safe. We’ve proven that we have the ability to keep growing amazing food and keep sharing it with you safely right here from the Farm Store, even through the pandemic!

Which means that when/if you find yourself worrying (as I sometimes do) about the plan for the next phase, please remember that we’re here for you. Our doors will stay open. Because, we’re not going anywhere!

Your Farmers,
Jenney & Greg

PS- It feels so amazing to have finally shared our most beloved story of The Goose! What did you think of it? If you didn’t get a chance to read it from start to finish, you can read all 4 chapters in our adorable little Goose e-book!

PPS- The Farm Store will be closed next Thursday July 9th. We will be open as usual for Sunday Farm Store on July 12th.
