We said YES to moving a 200-year-old barn to the farm without having a clue as to how to pull the whole thing off.
Surely, we told ourselves, we can figure out how to build something to help you turn every cut of meat you purchase from us into a masterpiece!!
The Half Pig Academy, as we now call it, actually wasn’t an idea we generated ourselves!
Like usual, this idea came from YOU (actually many of you!) in little bits and pieces through our conversations shared at Farm Store, emails and survey responses!
Once we heard the common thread and the collective desire for more support in the kitchen, it felt just like the day our friend offered us the 200-year-old barn – we said HECK YEAH and jumped right in, knowing we’d figure out the rest along the way.
As is the case with any good project, the challenges have been plenty. But we took every bit of advice you’ve offered, getting support from mentors and experts.
And over the past 6 months, we brainstormed and built something amazing, the very first of its kind!
